Borrowed time, P. 2

Regarding earlier thoughts
Honestly tho…

Who am I to question Your goodness?
You cause the sun to rise and the rain to fall.

Who am I to doubt Your craft?
Your lightning carves the sky east to west;
and captures all that’s done in the dark.

Who am I to fear the sinners?
Their hope is vain as weeds cast to flame;
let me not be counted among them.

Who am I to run from You and hide?
The mountains bow down to dust in the wake of your wrath.

Who am I to complain?
You have made a path through death that I might find You.

If I cling to You
never let me go–
never let me fall.
Show me Your love
now and forever —
once and for all.

…and that thing I asked, show me it’s possible.

love.
