Wisdom Challenge: Day 31

It is not for kings to drink wine,
Nor for princes intoxicating drink;
Lest they drink and forget the law,
And pervert the justice of all the afflicted.

Proverbs 31:4-5

Many of the people I look up to, both in spirituality and in business, abstain from alcohol.

Sure, it’s not a sin or anything but I can’t necessarily make a long list of benefits either.

I can’t say it makes me any more sociable than I already am. Nor can I say that I’m much more productive after a long-night of drinking.

Trust me, I’m not having too many of those anyway.

Maybe it does give me the courage to make some bold decisions, but I end up feeling awkward about them later anyway.

I know someone personally who doesn’t do any sorts of drugs, not even caffeine, and I respect that beyond words.

I’m definitely not at that level yet, but I’m a lot further than I was a year ago.

I suppose the biggest thing now is envisioning the man that I want to become and making those tough decisions now that will lead me there.

And that pertains to anything, not just alcohol.

The earlier I choose, the quicker I’ll get there.

Last Post– Wisdom Challenge

On another note, this post marks the end of the 31 Days of Proverbs.

I have never posted on any media platform for 31 days consecutively, let alone a blog post.

There were times when I just didn’t feel like it, but pushed through it anyway.

Although, I don’t plan to continue posting every day, this has at least shown me that I can be a consistent content creator if that’s what I set my mind to do.

The same goes for you who’s reading this.

Thanks to all of you who joined me on this journey and to the new subscribers we’ve gained last month.

The support goes a long and I’m excited to see where this platform goes next.

If you haven’t subscribed yet be sure to do so you don’t miss out on any new or exclusive content.

Talk to you guys soon,

Ciao!
